House Numbers Must Be Clearly Visible From Street

lost if emergency personnel cannot find the right address quickly.
This matter is so crucial to public safety, that there is a township ordinance
requiring compliance. The Fire Company reminds homeowners—and businesses,
too—to get those street numbers displayed. It really could be a matter of
life or death. We can only help you if we can find you. We want
every home in the township to be in compliance with the township ordinance
requiring reflective address numbers to be visible from the roadway. To
help with this process, we have developed an innovative fundraiser that is a
true "win-win" for everyone. The Fire Company is marketing reflective
signs that will prominently display your house number. This helps us
easily find you in an emergency. The cost of the signs is $15.00 and the
Fire Company will install the signs for a nominal fee, if required. All
senior citizens can have their signs installed for free, if they require
assistance. The signs are Green with White Letters, similar to the street
signs in the township. These reflective signs are also helpful for
out-of-town guests, delivery services, and police units to easily locate your
address.
